# Mobile App Development

> Cross-platform iOS and Android apps for startups and growing teams, scoped from real workflows, built to maintain, and shipped in usable slices.

## Overview

Most mobile projects fail on scope, not code: a wishlist becomes an app before anyone maps how people actually use it. We start from the workflow, then build the thin slice that ships, learns from real usage, and grows from there.

Apps rarely stand alone. When your app needs a backend, admin dashboard, or internal tooling to go with it, that work runs through our [custom software](/services/custom-software) service, and if the app benefits from smart automation or drafting, we bring in [AI integrations](/services/ai-integrations) once the fit is confirmed.

## What we deliver

- iOS & Android from one codebase
- Offline-first where it matters
- API & backend integration
- App Store & Play submission
- Analytics and crash reporting
- Post-launch maintenance

## Our Process

1. **Workflow mapping**: We map how the work actually runs today, actors, systems, and the steps that hurt, before proposing any build.
2. **Written scope & assumptions**: Scope, assumptions, and tradeoffs in writing. You approve what 'done' means before we start.
3. **Thin vertical slices**: We ship the smallest useful slice first, then iterate, so you see working software early, not a big-bang reveal.
4. **Review in plain language**: Progress reviews you can follow without a translation layer, with direct access to the engineers building it.
5. **Launch & handover**: We deploy, document the system, and hand over code you own, no black-box dependency on us.
6. **Support with clear response times**: Ongoing maintenance and support with agreed response times, from the people who built it.

## FAQ

### Native or cross-platform, which do you build?

We default to a cross-platform build so iOS and Android ship from one codebase, which is cheaper to maintain for most business apps. Where a feature genuinely needs native performance or platform APIs, we say so and scope it explicitly.

### Do you handle App Store and Play submission?

Yes - we handle store submission, review requirements, and the first release, and hand over the accounts and process so you control future updates. You own the app listings and the code.

### Should we build an app or a mobile web experience?

If you do not need push, offline, or device hardware, a fast mobile web app is often cheaper and easier to distribute, and we will say so. A native app earns its place when engagement, offline use, or device features are central.

### How is InfoWebPlus different from a large agency?

You work directly with the senior engineer who scopes, builds, and maintains your system, there are no account managers or junior teams in between. InfoWebPlus is a small product engineering studio by design, which means faster decisions and code you own, not agency overhead.

### Do I own the code you write?

Yes. You own the code and the documented handover, there is no black-box dependency on InfoWebPlus. We build on well-supported, maintainable stacks so your team, or another engineer, can run and extend the system later.

### How do you estimate and price projects?

We quote from written scope and assumptions, fixed phases where the work is clear, time-and-materials where discovery is still open. Cost is driven by integrations, unique screens, languages, and how stable the process is; the free calculators give a planning range before you talk to us.
