# Web Design & Development

> Custom websites and web applications for teams launching or rebuilding online, fast, accessible, SEO-ready, and easy to maintain after launch.

## Overview

A website is infrastructure, not a brochure: it needs to load fast, rank, and convert, and still be editable by your team next year. We build on stacks we can hand over documented, not ones that lock you into an agency.

Most of our recent builds run on [Next.js](/topics/nextjs) for SSR and SEO, with [React](/topics/react) component work that stays maintainable after handover, no framework theatre, just the parts your team will actually touch.

## What we deliver

- Responsive, accessible builds
- Core Web Vitals performance
- Technical SEO baked in
- A CMS you can actually edit
- Analytics & conversion tracking
- Maintainable Next.js / React

## Our Process

1. **Workflow mapping**: We map how the work actually runs today, actors, systems, and the steps that hurt, before proposing any build.
2. **Written scope & assumptions**: Scope, assumptions, and tradeoffs in writing. You approve what 'done' means before we start.
3. **Thin vertical slices**: We ship the smallest useful slice first, then iterate, so you see working software early, not a big-bang reveal.
4. **Review in plain language**: Progress reviews you can follow without a translation layer, with direct access to the engineers building it.
5. **Launch & handover**: We deploy, document the system, and hand over code you own, no black-box dependency on us.
6. **Support with clear response times**: Ongoing maintenance and support with agreed response times, from the people who built it.

## FAQ

### How long does a website or web app take?

A focused marketing site is usually a few weeks; a web application with logins, data, and integrations runs longer and ships in thin slices. We give an indicative timeline with the quote and show working software early rather than at the end.

### Will the site be fast and rank well?

We build for Core Web Vitals and bake in technical SEO, clean markup, structured data, and sensible internal linking, so the site is eligible to rank. Rankings still depend on content and competition, but the technical foundation will not be the blocker.

### Can our team edit the site after launch?

Yes - we build on a CMS your non-technical team can actually use, and hand over documentation. You are not forced to come back to us for every content change.

### How is InfoWebPlus different from a large agency?

You work directly with the senior engineer who scopes, builds, and maintains your system, there are no account managers or junior teams in between. InfoWebPlus is a small product engineering studio by design, which means faster decisions and code you own, not agency overhead.

### Do I own the code you write?

Yes. You own the code and the documented handover, there is no black-box dependency on InfoWebPlus. We build on well-supported, maintainable stacks so your team, or another engineer, can run and extend the system later.

### How do you estimate and price projects?

We quote from written scope and assumptions, fixed phases where the work is clear, time-and-materials where discovery is still open. Cost is driven by integrations, unique screens, languages, and how stable the process is; the free calculators give a planning range before you talk to us.
