George Barbu has been building for the web since the 2004 mobile WAP era. He started his first company in 2016, originally under a different name. The
infowebplus.com domain dates back to its first registration in 1998 and was acquired by George in 2025; today that business is positioned under the InfoWebPlus brand. He keeps the studio small and senior by design: clients work directly with the engineer who scopes, builds, and maintains their systems, with no account managers in between.
His writing draws on implementation work: AI features that stalled after launch, automation that looked efficient on paper, internal tools that never found users, and build-vs-buy decisions where the wrong cost comparison led to the wrong outcome. He focuses on what technical decisions cost over the full lifecycle, the maintenance, the dependencies, and the organizational burden that don't appear in the original proposal.
He works with founders, operators, and technical leads making decisions that compound over years, and he will recommend against building software when buying or not building is the better call. InfoWebPlus is headquartered in
Manilva,
Málaga, on the Costa del Sol, and works remotely across Europe.
