Full analysis
George Barbu of InfoWebPlus rebuilt femeiladieta.ro, a Romanian healthy-recipe site on an older domain, relaunched it in June 2026 and runs its search work. In the last 28 days of the data below (7 October to 3 November) it averaged about 94 impressions a day in Google Search, against about 14 a day in the first 28 (4 to 31 August). Its average position moved from about 32 to about 8 in the same time. The export covers only the last three months, so it says nothing about how the site did before 4 August. This page shows the numbers, the pages that produced them and the short list of decisions behind them. It covers visibility, not visits or revenue.
The short version
- Visibility grew nearly sevenfold over the three months in the export, from a small base.
- Most of it came from one kind of page: a plain question, answered in the first lines, with one comparison table.
- None of it needed a special tool. It needed the right questions and the technical basics done once.
What the data shows
All figures come from the Google Search Console performance export for femeiladieta.ro (web search, the last three months: 4 August to 3 November 2026), exported on 6 November 2026. Average position is weighted by impressions.
| Period | Impressions | Days | Per day | Average position |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 to 31 August | 388 | 28 | 14 | 31.7 |
| September | 541 | 30 | 18 | 18.2 |
| October | 2,308 | 31 | 74 | 8.2 |
| 1 to 3 November | 559 | 3 | 186 | 8.1 |
| Whole period | 3,796 | 92 | 41 | 12.0 |
The best full week was 26 October to 1 November, with 1,069 impressions. The two charts in the gallery at the end of this page show the daily impressions and the weekly average position.
Where the impressions come from: about 90% from Romania and about 85% from phones, which fits a Romanian-language site. Search Console lists 217 queries one by one; together they cover 948 of the 3,796 impressions, because Google hides rare queries.
What worked: one question, one clear answer
The site's articles fall into groups. Here are the two we can date from the page markup, with article counts as of 6 November 2026.
| Article group | Articles | With impressions | Impressions | Average position |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Broad guides, 5 July to 16 August (no table) | 21 | 15 | 284 | 35.6 |
| Question-led pages with a comparison table, from 23 August | 20 | 19 | 2,630 | 8.0 |
The broad guides cover topics such as yoga for beginners, exercises for the back and detox. The question-led group answers one nutrition question each, such as how many calories a cheese pie has or how cottage cheese compares with telemea. Twenty question-led pages hold more than nine times the impressions of twenty-one broad guides, at a much better position. A third group of 14 pages has no publication date in its markup, so we left it out of the comparison: 12 diet guides (Mayo, Dukan, keto, FODMAP, Mediterranean and DASH), the protein guide in the table below and a hub page. Together they hold 444 impressions.
This is not a controlled test. The broad guides were also the first posts of the rebuilt site, and the three groups differ in age and topic. It is still the clearest pattern in the data.
The six pages with the most impressions are all question-led:
| Page | Impressions | Average position |
|---|---|---|
| Cate calorii are o placinta cu branza | 710 | 5.3 |
| Branza de vaci vs telemea: calorii si proteine | 705 | 6.5 |
| Cate calorii are mamaliga | 279 | 9.1 |
| Cate calorii are un covrig | 221 | 9.7 |
| Câte proteine are brânza de vaci: ghid practic, 6 comparații | 220 | 5.4 |
| Avocado la dieta: cate calorii are si cum il mananci | 213 | 10.0 |
Five of the six carry a publication date in their markup: one is from 26 August and four are from 2 to 15 October. Those four pages from October alone hold 1,423 impressions, more than a third of everything in the export. Positions are averages over the days each page was shown.
The decisions behind it
- Question-led topics. Each page takes a question people type almost word for word ("câte calorii are un covrig", "câte proteine are brânza de vaci") and answers only that.
- One page format. The first paragraph gives the number. Most headings are questions. There is one comparison table, a short conclusion and a related-reading block, and the values are labeled as approximate with a reminder to read the product label.
- Structured data. Guides carry Article markup from Rank Math. All 60 recipe pages carry Recipe and BreadcrumbList markup with total time and nutrition values, and 41 also carry FAQPage markup. Search Console lists "Recipe rich results" as a search appearance for the site, with 123 impressions.
- Sitemaps and llms.txt. Rank Math builds a sitemap index with posts, pages, categories and a separate recipes sitemap. robots.txt blocks only /wp-admin/ and points to the index, and an llms.txt file lists 70 links to posts and pages. We cannot say llms.txt changed anything; it costs nothing to ship.
- A recipe library as a content engine. The 60 recipe pages come from the site's own recipe tool and are linked from the guides. Forty-seven of them already had impressions, 457 in total at an average position of 22.1. Each one is small, but together they widen what the site can be found for.
- Technical basics. A canonical URL on every page we checked, index, follow with max-snippet:-1 and max-image-preview:large on the guides, 301 redirects from http and www to the https address without www, one H1 per page, alt text on every image we checked, WebP images and a page cache.
Google's AI features
Search Console also has a report for Google's generative AI features. In the same period it shows 643 impressions for the site, 447 of them in October. The top pages are the same question-and-table guides: 225 impressions for the cheese pie page, 112 for cottage cheese against telemea and 58 for the protein guide. We read this as a sign that direct answers get picked up, not as proof of anything more.
What this does not show
- Visits, sign-ups or revenue. This page is about visibility. We do not publish click, traffic or revenue figures.
- A long track record. Three months is short, and going from 14 to 94 impressions a day is growth from a small base.
- A clean starting line. femeiladieta.ro has history. The Internet Archive captured an earlier site on it from 4 August 2021 to 16 July 2024, and WHOIS lists the current registration as 10 November 2024. The domain may have carried some trust from before, and an export limited to three months cannot separate that from the effect of the new pages. We also have no search data for the earlier site.
- A finished job. Five queries about the Mayo diet account for 218 impressions, at average positions between 13 and 33. On those searches the site still appears on page two to four of the results.
- A complete query list. About three quarters of the impressions come from queries Google does not list.
- Stable positions. Positions are averages and move from week to week, so we read the 28-day trend, not a single day.
What a business can take from this
- Start from questions customers type. Put the answer in the first lines of the page.
- Give every page one job and one table. A page that answers one question completely is easier to write, to check and to quote.
- Do the technical basics once. Sitemaps, canonical URLs, redirects and structured data should be settled early, so the rest of the time goes to content.
- Read trends, not days. Compare 28-day windows and keep the notes next to the numbers.
