Full analysis

femeiladieta.ro is a Romanian-language healthy eating site: a recipe tool, a free recipe library and nutrition guides. The domain has history. The Internet Archive captured an earlier site on it from 4 August 2021 to 16 July 2024, and WHOIS lists the current registration as 10 November 2024. In 2026 George Barbu of InfoWebPlus rebuilt the site, relaunched it in June 2026 and runs its search work. This page covers what was built. The search numbers have their own write-up, linked below.

The client

Femei la Dieta (femeiladieta.ro) describes itself as a personal assistant for a healthy life, made for women in Romania. As checked on 6 November 2026, the site offers:

  • a recipe tool: you type the name of a Romanian dish or pick a suggested one, and in seconds you get a lighter version with ingredients, steps, estimated nutrition values, a Nutri-Score and the changes from the classic recipe;
  • 7-day meal plans and a shopping list, plus an account to save recipes;
  • the Rețetar, a free library of 60 recipe pages, and more than 50 guides on food, diets and healthy habits;
  • free welcome credits for the tool and credit packs after that, with no subscription and no recurring payments.

The site says it uses the World Health Organization (WHO) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) for nutrition claims, labels its nutrition values as estimates, and links a nutrition disclaimer in its footer. Those are the site's own statements, not a result of our work.

The challenge

A rebuilt site on an older domain had to be found for health-related questions in Romanian, and trusted enough to be used again. It also had to turn a visit into use of the tool, not only a page view. On a health-adjacent topic that means no miracle promises, clear estimates and pages that answer one question completely.

What we built

  • A custom WordPress theme. A theme made for this site, with its own templates for the home page, recipe pages and guides.
  • The recipe tool, accounts and credits. Visitors generate a lighter version of a dish, save recipes and build 7-day plans. Credits are bought as packs, not as a subscription.
  • Recipe pages with structured data. Every Rețetar page lists ingredients and steps, and many show a Nutri-Score. All 60 carry Recipe and BreadcrumbList markup with total time and nutrition values, and 41 also carry FAQPage markup. Google reports the site under "Recipe rich results".
  • A guide template built for questions. The title is the question in the words people type, the first paragraph gives the number, and the page has one comparison table, a short conclusion and related reading.
  • A search foundation. Rank Math with separate sitemaps for posts, pages, categories and recipes, a canonical URL on every page we checked, 301 redirects to the https address without www, an llms.txt file, and WebP images with alt text.
  • A mobile-first layout. About 85% of the site's Google impressions come from phones.

Stack: WordPress, a custom theme, Rank Math, LiteSpeed Cache and JSON-LD structured data.

Search results

Between 4 August and 3 November 2026 the site had 3,796 impressions in Google Search. In the last 28 days of that window it averaged about 94 impressions a day, against about 14 a day in the first 28, and its average position moved from about 32 to about 8. The numbers, the pages behind them and the limits of this data are in the case study SEO is not magic: femeiladieta.ro in Google Search.

Where it stands

The site is live, and the Search Console figures above come from an export dated 6 November 2026. They measure visibility, not visits, sign-ups or sales, and we do not publish traffic, user or revenue figures that we cannot back up.

What a business can take from this

  • Build the tool and the content together. A tool people can use gives the guides somewhere to lead, and the guides bring people to the tool.
  • Answer the question on the first screen. A number in the first paragraph and one clear table beat a long introduction.
  • Make the site easy for search to read. Sitemaps, canonical URLs and structured data are done once and then left alone.
