Problem
A long-term car hire company with 175+ cars, four fleets, two contract types and customers from many countries needs a website that answers price, terms and fit quickly, in the visitor's language.
Solution
Website redesign with clear fleets, contract options and one main action (get a quote or book), in ten language versions. InfoWebPlus also builds the company's back office and a customer app.
Full analysis
Purple Cars is a long-term car hire company based in Estepona, on the Costa del Sol. InfoWebPlus redesigned the public website, builds the company's back office, and is building a mobile app for customers. The site credits InfoWebPlus as its Technology Partner.
The client
Purple Cars (purplecars.es) hires used cars for a month or longer, from Estepona and Manilva, across the coast from Gibraltar to Mijas. The business grew out of a local garage in Estepona, and the site says most of its customers are English-speaking or expats.
What the public site offers, as checked on 2 November 2026:
- more than 175 used cars, each priced individually on age, mileage and condition;
- four fleets: Premium, Mid-Range, Budget and Runabout, from 349 euros a month;
- a 30-day minimum, with a fixed-term contract or a rolling 30-day contract with 14 days' notice;
- unlimited mileage in Andalucía, no credit card required and a zero-deposit option;
- a service centre, trade sales, a blog and FAQs alongside car hire.
These are the client's own offers and figures, not results of our work.
The challenge
A rental company with many cars, two contract types and customers from many countries has to answer the same questions on every visit: which car fits my budget, how long do I have to keep it, and what is included. If those answers are hard to find, the visitor phones, writes, or leaves.
What we built
- Website redesign. A home page that says in one screen what the business does, where, from what price and on what terms, with one main action: get a quote or book.
- Fleets explained by budget. Four fleet pages that describe what each price level means in plain words, so the visitor can pick before asking.
- Clear contract options. Fixed term or rolling 30-day hire, side by side, with the conditions written out.
- Ten language versions. The site is available in English plus Spanish, German, French, Dutch, Belgian Dutch, Swedish, Polish, Greek and Norwegian. The sitemap lists 211 URLs.
- Back office. A private management system for the business, built by InfoWebPlus. It is internal, so it is not shown here.
- Mobile app. A customer app built by InfoWebPlus. In October 2026 it was in app store review; it is not available to download yet.
Where it stands
The redesigned site is live at purplecars.es, with InfoWebPlus credited as Technology Partner in the footer. Work on the back office continues, and the app is going through store review. We will add measured results here once there is data we can publish.
What a local business can take from this
- Put the price and the terms on the first screen. "From 349 euros a month, minimum 30 days" answers the first question before anyone has to ask.
- Group what you sell by budget, not by internal codes. Four clear levels are easier to choose from than a long list.
- Speak your customers' language. If many of your clients are foreign, a site in their language removes friction before the first message.
